FAQ
Elecq APP
1.What should I do if my charger is not starting?
Check if the charger is properly plugged in and connected to the app. Ensure there are no ongoing warnings or issues. If the problem persists, restart the app or contact customer support.
2.Why did my charging session pause?
Charging may pause due to the charger or vehicle entering a suspended state, load balancing, or other conditions like random delay. Check the app for more details or troubleshoot based on any alerts.
3.What does “Charging suspended by charger” mean?
This message means the charger has temporarily paused the session, possibly for load balancing or smart charging reasons. Charging will resume automatically once conditions are optimal.
4.What should I do if the charger is already bound to another user?
If the charger is already bound by a family member, ask them to invite you to share the charger with the family. If you own the charger but are unsure who bound it, please contact the dealer or our support team for assistance.
5.What should I do if the charger goes offline?
You can try connecting to the charger via Bluetooth or check the charger's network connection to troubleshoot the issue.
6.What should I do if Bluetooth connection fails?
You can go to your system settings and forget the charger device, then try reconnecting via Bluetooth. Alternatively, restarting the app or the charger might solve the problem.
7.Can I use an RFID card or mobile key when the charger is offline?
Yes, RFID cards and mobile keys are stored locally on the charger, so you can still use them. However, performing a factory reset will erase both the RFID cards and mobile keys from the charger.
8.Why is the charging speed slow?
The actual charging speed of your electric vehicle is influenced by several factors beyond the charger itself. These factors include:
- Vehicle's onboard charger capacity: Your car's onboard charger determines the maximum AC power it can accept, which directly affects charging speed.
- Battery state of charge: Charging speeds tend to slow down as the battery gets closer to full capacity.
- Battery temperature: Extreme temperatures, either too hot or too cold, can reduce charging efficiency.
- Demand response programs: If your vehicle or charger is part of a demand response program with your utility company, charging speeds may be adjusted to balance grid demand.
- Vehicle settings: The charging speed may be limited by current limits or charging schedules set in your vehicle's settings.
- Vehicle status: For certain vehicles, actions like unlocking the doors can impact the charging speed.
Elecq Partner App
1.When do I need to create a private site?
If your site is a home or non-public site with a small number of chargers, you only need to control it through the Elecq App, and there is no need to transfer the OCPP server to provide operation services to the CPO.
2.When do I need to create a public site?
If your site is a commercial or public site with many chargers, you need to provide operation services to CPO by transferring the OCPP server.
3.When do I need to copy a site?
If the parameter information of the site you are installing is similar or consistent with the installed site, you can use this function to quickly copy the original parameter information to the new site. At this time, you only need to add the device to complete the installation of the site.
4.When do I need to use config tools?
If you want to set more detailed, advanced, and personalized configuration information for a single charger, you can set it via Bluetooth after completing authentication.
5.What happens if I configure the load balancing mode to Off?
Relying on the charger's own current limit to prevent electrical overload.
6.What happens if I configure the load balancing mode to Basic?
By using the fixed reserved current and the circuit-breaking current, the chargers are maintained at a safe current level.
7.What happens if I configure the load balancing mode to Adaptive?
By dynamically sensing changes in the circuit, the charging current is dynamically changed while still maintaining a safe current level.
8.What happens if I configure the load balancing mode to Solar?
Connecting to photovoltaic power, green energy makes the cost of charging and using electricity cheaper.
9.How to join an authorized installation organization?
You can use the organization switching function on the homepage to apply to join the organization using the organization code. The organization code corresponds to the organization's ID on the platform, which is unique.
